14. Ariel Rally 2017 Krušné hory

V dňoch 3.-6.8.2017 sa konala už 14. Ariel Rally Českého klubu v poradí. Pre tentokrát sme sa premiestnili na západnú hranicu Česka a naše výpravy smerovali kopcami v okolí Karlových Varov  a nechválne známych Jáchymovských dolov. Akcia časom naberá na kvalite a je to poznať aj na pravidelnej účasti veľkého počtu priaznivcov tejto značky. Samozrejme, že sme nemohli chýbať ani my zo Slovenska, no pridali sa k nám aj Taliani, Poliaci a Rakúšania. Celkovo sa akcie zúčastnilo viac ako 80 posádok z piatich krajín Európy.

 From 3rd to 6th August 2017 the 14th Ariel Rally of Czech Club took place. For this time we moved on to the west border of Czech republic and our trips lead through the hills around Carlsbad and Jáchymov uranium known for their tragic history. This rally grows and ripens with time and one could easily tell by seeing an enormous quantity of Ariel fans joining the rally. Of course we could not miss it, but also Italians, Polish and Austrian guys showed up. Overall 80 crews from 5 countries took part in this event.

Výborná atmosféra pozitívne naladených členov sa niesla celým stretnutím a pri večerných posedeniach bolo z každého hlúčika ľudí počuť otázky, ale aj odpovede na ten, či onen problém a informácie o doposiaľ nedostupných dieloch a metódach opravy. Ešte stále sa medzi ľuďmi nachádza množstvo starých strojov, ktoré potrebujú zlaté ruky a chuť spraviť nemožné, opäť možným. Veď ak je komunita okolo značky taká obrovská, vždy sa nájde niekto, kto ti môže pomôcť a pravidelné stretnutia na Ariel Rally je tou najlepšou príležitosťou stretnúť všetkých tých skvelých ľudí pohromade.

A fantastic atmosphere created by positively tuned members carried on through the whole meeting. During the evening parties you could hear questions and answers to one or other technical problem with the motorcycles, information about parts that are hard to get or technical procedures during the restoration. There is still enough old machines which need a touch of skilled hands and a will to make the impossible possible. When the community around the brand is so huge, there is always somebody who may help and the regular Ariel Rally meetings are the best way to meet these great people altogether.

Aj preto sa stretnutia často, čo i len na jedno večerné posedenie, zúčastňujú aj ľudia ktorý majú k dokončeniu svojho stroja ešte ďalekú cestu, no vedia tu načerpať množstvo informácií a novú silu do svojho projektu. Veď najlepšou silou, ktorá ťa ženie vpred je, keď vidíš, že také isté stroje, ako je ten tvoj už niekomu jazdia. Je to teda možné a určite sa to podarí aj tebe. Ak sa ti teda s niečím nedarí pohnúť, tu je to správne miesto na vyriešenie tvojho problému.

That is the reason why often people who still have a long way to finish their projects join the meeting even only for one night to get a huge amount of information and fill up a new energy to work further. The best and greatest force that pushes you  further is to see the same machines working and riding. You see things possible and you feel you are able to do it too. And if you have issues and the project is becoming stuck, here is the best place to solve your problem.

Počas Rally sme podnikli dva výlety po okolí a navštívili rôzne výhliadky a múzea. Najazdili sme zhruba 300 km po cestičkách druhej a tretej triedy. Neobišli sme ani stredoveký hrad Loket nad riekou Ohře z druhej polovice 12. storočia a na večer sme sa vždy vrátili do dedinky Nové Hámry, kde sme mali dočasné sídlo.

During the rally we made two trips around the place and visited various look-out points and museums. We rode around 300 kilometers on the roads of 2nd and 3rd class. We could not miss the medieval castle of Loket over Ohře river from the second half of 12th century and we always came back in the evening to Nové Hámry village where we stayed.

Vyvrcholením celej akcie bol večerný príhovor troch prezidentov, kde prezident Ariel Owners Motorcycle Clubu, Ariel Atzori povedal: ,,Som moc milo potešený, koľko je u vás predvojnových motocyklov, na ktorých jazdia mladí ľudia. To sa bežne nevidí. Akcia bola moc krásna a teším sa, že do Čiech prídem opäť ."

The climax of the rally was an evening speech of three presidents, where the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club president, Mr. Atzori said: „I am so happy and surprised how many pre-war motorcycles you have here and how many young people ride on them. That is really rarely to be seen. The rally was beautiful and I look forward to come to Czech republic again.“

K tomu niet čo dodať! Ak si západný svet môže brať od nás príklad, asi to robíme dobre. Teším sa na ďalšiu výnimočnú akciu s Arielmi, pre rok 2018 by sme mali skončiť niekde na Morave. Verím, že aj ďalšia akcia bude skvelá a my si užijeme hukot starých deduškov a vietor vo vlasoch pri svižnej jazde medzi vinohradmi.

There is nothing to be said more! When we can be an example for the western countries then it must be a sign that we are doing it right. I look forward to another outstanding event with Ariels, in 2018 we should end up somewhere in Moravia. I believe that the next rally will be great and we will enjoy the roaring of the „grand fathers“ and the wind in our hair while swishing among the vineyards.
